Rates

Radar Initial diagnostic bench charge: $45

The diagnostic process consists of a complete functional check of the radar per the manufacturers specifications to verify:

• All displays will light-up
• Volume is present
• All buttons functioning
• Transmission frequency is in spec
• Range and accuracy of antennas
• Antenna cable integrity check

If repairs are needed and you elect for Precision Radar to perform these repairs, we waive the diagnostic charge. If you elect not to have Precision Radar repair your unit, you will be charged the $45 fee.

Radar Repair Labor Rate:  $45/hr (first hour); $10/quarter-hr (after first hour)

Each unit for repair is assessed one hour of labor. If the repair takes longer than one hour, the pro-rated fee is added.

Radar Certification Fee: $35 per unit

Each radar certification includes two tuning fork check/certifications at no charge.

Lidar Initial diagnostic bench charge: $60

The diagnostic process consists of a complete functional check of the lidar per the manufacturers specifications to verify:

• All displays functioning
• Volume is present
• All buttons functioning
• Alignment, range and speed accuracy

If repairs are needed and you elect for Precision Radar to perform these repairs, we waive the diagnostic charge. If you elect not to have Precision Radar repair the lidar, you will be charged the $60.00 fee.

Lidar Repair Labor Rate: $75/hr (first hour); $15/quarter-hr (after first hour)

Each unit for repair is assessed one hour of labor. If the repair takes longer than one hour, the pro-rated fee is added.

Lidar Certification Fee: $75

Lidar certification includes a check of the following

• Range Accuracy At 300ft, 600ft and 1,000ft
• Alignment Accuracy At 300ft, 600ft and 1,000ft
• Speed Accuracy At 300ft, 600ft and 1,000ft
