Radar Repair

We offer the best radar repair service rates in the business at $45.00 per hour.  In some cases our price is half the labor cost of the manufacturer due to our size and efficiency. In fact, if you encounter another certified radar repair facility whose labor charge is less than ours, we will match their labor cost.  This only applies to legitimate businesses that publish their rates to the general public.  We will ask that you send us their advertised rates.

The minimum labor charge will be $45.00.  This includes the initial test and evaluation and sending you the repair estimate.  All repairs of less than an hour will be charged a $45 labor fee.  If the repair takes longer than an hour, your will be charged per quarter hour which is $11.25.  For example, if you approve a repair that will take 1 1/2 hours you will be charged $67.50 (45+11.25+11.25) for labor.

If you decide not to approve the repair estimate, you will be charged $45 and we will send you radar back to you. Radar equipment shall not be returned until payment is received.

All parts required to complete the repair will be charged at our cost.

Radar Certification

All radar certifications are $35.  This includes a full functional test, radar certification and tuning fork certification.

Shipping

Inbound shipping to Precision Radar in Arkansas is at the customers expense.  Return shipping to the customer is at Precision Radar's expense.

For multi-piece shipments such as certifying a group of radar's Precision Radar will offer a shipping credit on the final invoice.

Payment Options

Individual/Personal Radar Repair

If this is a repair for individual or personal radar use, we recommend using PayPal. This is very simple and easy.  If you do not already have a PayPal account, please go here and register.  Once you have an account simply click Send Money.  Then do the following:

1. Enter 'service@precisionradar.com' in the 'To' info box;

2. Enter the amount of repair from the repair quotation;

3. Ensure US Dollars is the currency type;

4. Select 'Services/Other' in the 'Send Money For' area

5. Click 'Continue'

6. Review all information and confirm it is correct;

7. Scroll down and in the Message box list the radar serial number, quotation number and your name (which should match the name on Radar Information Sheet you included with the radar) and any other information you wish to include.  This information will help us match your funds transfer to the correct repair.

8. Click 'Send Money'

When we receive notification that funds have been transferred, we will notify you with confirmation and and estimated radar return date.

As an option, a cashiers check or money or is acceptable also.  Cashiers checks or Money Orders should be may out to Precision Radar for the amount on the repair estimate.  Repair/Certification will begin as soon as funds arrive.

Agencies

Agencies may use the above method as well but we also offer post billing.  After equipment is shipped back to the agency we will invoice the agency.  There will be no recurring business with an agency who has an outstanding balance past 45 days.
